Daily Devotional for Meditators Encourages Readers to Find Serenity

Author Irene A. Cohen, MD promotes meditation, a quiet mind and oneness with Soul Journey to Love.

Long time meditation devotee and Course in Miracles student, Dr. Irene A. Cohen, has released a series of inspirational messages, prayers and processes designed to create serenity in her new nonfiction, Soul Journey to Love: 100 Days to Inner Peace (Balboa Press, 6/26/12).

“I meditate daily and from these meditations, Soul Journey to Love was born,” says Dr. Cohen. “The entries are short and meant to be read daily. The passages are spiritual but not religious and are written in a devotional and lyrical manner. Each day’s reading allows readers to deepen their experience of oneness. Dr. Cohen continues, “Think of these as a prayer on love.”

About the Author

Irene A. Cohen, M.D. is a psychiatrist, acupuncturist, interfaith minister and student of A Course in Miracles who has been in medical practice for almost 30 years. After completing the Voice for Love program in 2010 where she learned to clearly hear the inner voice within, which some call the higher self or Holy Spirit, Soul Journey to Love was written. Over the past 17 years Dr. Cohen has served on the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Advisory Board, given workshops in qigong, meditation, sound and color and integrated techniques from Eastern and Western medicine in her private practice.

A lifelong resident of New York City, she now lives and works in Austin, Texas with her husband Michael Nill. Dr. Cohen spends her time writing, painting and giving talks and workshops on being at one with God and finding inner peace.
